Student Achievement 2017! < go back

Our Student of the Year Awards evening had a slight makeover this year.......

The Awards are now an integral part of our West Hill Thirst for Learning targets which are: to Respect, Learn and Achieve. Pupils were selected that had displayed these attributes throughout the year.  The awards evening took place at Kingsmead School where we were able to invite many more parents, families and Governors than ever before.

The evening was also very special as ex-pupils of West Hill from years 7-12 were invited to provide musical entertainment as well as our own West Hill Choir and Band, led by Mrs Baxter.

To conclude the awards evening Mrs Hackett and Mrs Hood were handed bouquets for their twenty-five years of service to our School. Children recieving awards were:

EYFS: Christian Whitehouse, Harry Blower and Eliza Morris,

Year 1: Hollie Proce, Cairo Byfield and Reece Peach,

Year 2: Gabriel Olkowicz, Lucy Brant and Poppy Kelly,

Year 3: Noah Evans-Moore, Kaitlyn Lowbridge and Callum Dobie,

Year 4: Tyler Chaplain, Ruby Whitehouse and Christopher Hollingmode,

Year 5: Mae Nicholls, Isabelle Wilkinson and Alex Jones,

Year 6: Taylor Knowles, William Powis and Summer Kelly.

Well done to these pupils for all their hard work this year - we are very proud of you!

Can we also send our sincere gratitude to Kingsmead for providing the facilities for our awards evening.
